Invisible Ray, The

Plot Summary
A Minerologist discoveres a lethal substance which emits a powerful radiation that is dangerous to humans. He seals samples in a lead casket, sends on key to a friend, Progessor Stone, and hangs another round his little daughters neck. Her father having disappeared, presumed dead, she grows up in an orphanage with the name Mystery. Later, she meets the professor and falls in love with his son. The two are relentlessly pursued by a gang called the Crime Creators who are after the lethal substance hoping to fashion it into a weapon to threaten the world. The couple is protected and aided y an enigmatic figure called Deauz (who turns out to be Mysterys father) and a clairvoyant who turns out to be her mother. Their friend John Haldane is revealed to be the villian.
